Vinc reads your documents and connects the ideas inside them into one graph you can search, browse, and share. All of it runs on your device — connect an AI assistant and it reads straight from your files.

What Vinc does

Vinc holds no model. It has no API key. That is why it runs with no internet. It does three things.

Keeps: your document text is the source of truth, stored alongside a map of the concepts in it and the relationships between them.
Shows: it draws that map in four viewpoints, 3D, 2D, Timeline and Weave, so a person can actually look at it.
Serves: when an assistant asks, it hands over the relevant slice. The judgment stays with the assistant.

The structuring happens inside the assistant, not inside Vinc. Vinc stores exactly what it is given and never guesses at meaning.

Where your data lives

Everything in the desktop app stays on your device. Nothing is uploaded. If you create an account, only what you choose syncs to your account graph, which is what the web app and the web connector read. The full picture is in Tools.
